BSA Troop 777
Hudson, Ohio
Boy Scout Troop 777 Hudson, Ohio
Troop 777 meets at the First Congregational Church of Hudson every Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM during the school year – we also meet at Hudson Springs Park weather permitting.
Troop 777 is focused on high adventure activities. We have a monthly campout from September through May along with at least one high adventure trip each summer. View our Calendar to see all that we have planned for this year.
We work on scout skills at every meeting. For example, the older scouts might teach the younger scouts about how to build a fire and provide instruction regarding fire safety. This session might be followed by a visit from members of the fire department to help reinforce the concepts of the meeting and to interact with the scouts. Every meeting is fun and is made possible by the senior scouts that lead the meetings (instead of the adult leaders). This troop is a real scouting experience for all scouts because of:
- our strong (and exciting) outdoor program,
- our commitment to boy-led leadership,
- our belief that scouting should provide lifelong skills and be a serious value for the scout,
- our scout family that supports our troop family,
- and excellent support from adult leaders and parents.
The troop is governed by the boys and guided by our troop code of conduct. The Scout Law, Oath, Motto, Slogan, and the Outdoor Code guide us (we also follow all BSA rules, regulations, and the Guide to Safe Scouting). Visitors may come and visit the troop during any meeting. We ask that you contact our Scoutmaster, prior to your visit in order to confirm the best date and time.
